BIOGRAPHIE
Josh Gad débute au théâtre après être sorti diplômé de la Carnegie Mellon School of Drama, puis s’oriente vers la comédie et rejoint la célèbre troupe Groundlings Improv avant de fonder sa propre compagnie, la Lost Nomads Comedy Troupe.
En 2002, il joue dans son premier film, Mary and Joe de John R. Hamilton, puis dans un film d’horreur, Razortooth de Patricia Harrington, et dans Watching the detectives, une comédie romantique de Paul Soter. On l’a vu par la suite dans Las Vegas 21 de Robert Luketic, avec Kate Bosworth, Laurence Fishburne et Kevin Spacey.
Josh Gad a joué dans la sitcom Back to You face à Kelsey Grammer et Patricia Heaton. En 2005, il a joué dans un épisode d' Urgences. En 2008 on peut le voir dans le film Rocker de Peter Cattaneo.
Il tourne ensuite Crossing over, un drame de Wayne Kramer, avec Harrison Ford, Sean Penn, Ray Liotta et Ashley Judd, et la comédie Mardi gras de Phil Domfeld, avec Carmen Electra.
Josh Gad a joué à Broadway dans la comédie musicale récompensée par un Tony Award The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Sur scène, il a aussi été l’interprète de All in the Timing, Les Sorcières de Salem , Skin of Our Teeth et Axis of E.
