Pierre Barbaud est né le 10 octobre 1911 à Saint-Eugène, Alger, en Algérie. C'était un compositeur et acteur, connu pour Hiroshima mon amour (1959), L'Été dernier (1961) et La Pointe Courte (1955). Il est décédé le 10 septembre 1990 à Nice, dans les Alpes-Maritimes, en France.
